Mobile Capabilities Extend Power of Changepoint PSA, Allowing Professional Services Consultants to Better Manage Engagements from Any Mobile Device Anywhere
TORONTO – MAY 2, 2016 Changepoint, a leading provider of professional services automation (PSA) solutions, today announced a new mobile application for Changepoint PSA that enables professional services consultants to submit timesheets, expense data, and task updates on any device, anywhere, with or without a network connection. Changepoint will demonstrate the app on Apple iOS- and Android-compatible tablets and phones at Technology Services World (TSW) 2016 in San Diego May 2-4, 2016 in Booth #18.
According to the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), 40 percent of their members are ‘constantly connected’ to work tasks through a personal mobile device. The Changepoint Mobile App is a native, device-oriented app that puts the most-used feature of Changepoint PSA—time, expense, and task tracking—into the hands of professionals in the field whose businesses rely on accurate billing for time worked. The online and offline capability of the Changepoint Mobile App ensures timeliness of entries, regardless of network availability, while the multi-platform design enables access on virtually any mobile device.
“In government we commonly rely on consultants, and always-on connectivity is paramount to success in the field,” said Kevin Lancaster, CEO of Winvale, a leading provider of government advisory and consulting services. “The Changepoint Mobile App will support our customers by putting the day-to-day technology in the hands of the users—regardless of where they are or the device they’re on. And, with the offline sync capability, updating tasks and time will be a lot easier in safe and network-controlled environments, which is typical in our industry.”
“Services teams are inherently mobile. They have to stay connected,” said Eric Bergman, Vice President of Product Management at Changepoint. “The Changepoint Mobile App is simple, easy-to-use, and was built with the on-the-go consultant in mind. With offline sync capabilities, users can enter data in the app—even when there’s no network availability—and it will sync as soon as the network is restored. It helps teams submit timely status updates, timesheets, and expense data for approval, without sacrificing their focus on engagements.”
The Changepoint Mobile App is currently in limited availability for selected customers and will be generally available to the public in the second quarter of 2016 for all iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices. For more information read the Changepoint Mobile App Data Sheet or visit Booth #18 at TSW. Produced by the TSIA, TSW is an annual event brings together more than 1,200 technology services leaders and executives to discuss the industry’s toughest challenges, including using the cloud and other mobile capabilities to optimize business growth and profitability.
